About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol for an assigned food and beverage manufacturing site in San Diego, California. The position pays $18.00 per hour and has a fixed weekly anchor shift on Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shift. In addition to the fixed shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to increase hours up to 40 per week or scale back when needed.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and access-control concerns, patrols the facility and surrounding areas, monitors visitor activity, keeps logs and incident documentation, and reports facility or sanitation concerns. Applicants must speak, read, and write fluent Spanish, meet the stated age requirement, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, entrances, and other assigned locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report equipment, facility, and sanitation-related concerns to appropriate site personnel.
