About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Juno Beach, Florida, to provide security services at a utility location. The position is designed around a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that anchor shift. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform to increase their hours, with the opportunity to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The advertised pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The listed shift is Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• A guard card is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and security-related observations.
