About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Miamisburg, Ohio. The role provides a consistent assigned-site shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up shifts to increase their hours, with the opportunity to build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The position pays $18.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

The Security Officer provides customer service while carrying out site security procedures and policies, responds to incidents and alarms, patrols the property, monitors access and visitor activity, and completes reports. No prior experience is required. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a background investigation and drug screen, subject to applicable law. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate security concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions to site leadership.
