About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Sherman, Texas, for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site. The position pays $18.75 per hour and has fixed weekly anchor shifts on Monday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The fixed-shift assignment requires a six-month commitment. In addition to those shifts, officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out site security procedures, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access, responds to incidents, and documents security-related activity. Allied Universal describes flexible scheduling, technology for viewing and claiming shifts, and opportunities to build toward full-time work.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures; report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site protocols, and notify appropriate contacts.
• Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
