About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed mobile patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control and site procedures, providing customer service, communicating with employees and visitors, and helping promote an orderly environment. The pay rate is $14.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow established site protocols, and contact emergency services when needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
