About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Specialist in Columbus, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology data center. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. The listed pay rate is $21.79 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control and incident documentation.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the data center location, including building interiors, exterior areas, and perimeter points.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
Help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
