About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location in Chula Vista, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. The role supports a welcoming environment through reliability, integrity, and teamwork. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is 10:00 PM–6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and facility rules.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
