About The Position

As a full-time unarmed mobile patrol officer at an automotive finance office in Irving, Texas, you will help safeguard the location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and assisting visitors and employees. The role is primarily a driving post and involves customer service, site security procedures, and responding to emergencies. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.
Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive finance office.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and notification protocols.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
