About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Pensacola, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a utility location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate observations, and provide customer service. The role is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following utility-site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance-related concerns according to site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
