Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed mobile patrol driver supporting an automotive location in Pattison, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by driving patrol routes, monitoring assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role serves an automotive manufacturing and operations location and requires a valid driver’s license. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.37 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, parking, office, shipping, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
