About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to concerns, and providing professional customer service and communication. The position is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $18.10 per hour. Additional shifts may be available through Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access control procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly according to site-specific reporting requirements.
