About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer at an assigned site in Macedonia, Ohio. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a required six-month commitment. The officer may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially building up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The position pays $16.50 per hour and has a scheduled shift on Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The officer provides customer service and performs security-related procedures, site-specific policies, patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting at an industrial supply and distribution location. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. Licensing may be required under state or local rules; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Hold a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, distribution, loading dock, office, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, deliveries, and contractor entry according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs covering patrols, incidents, access-related events, and other security observations.
