About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Whitsett, North Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools as needed to communicate with visitors and team members and support a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Thursday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and pays $16.89 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, if required for the position.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct guests, and report irregular conditions.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
