About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, following site-specific security procedures, and responding professionally to security concerns and emergencies. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a pay rate of $17.84 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor and contractor activity; report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
