About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Risk Awareness with Allied Universal, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics location in Hainesport, New Jersey. You will monitor and patrol the site, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. The role supports daily operations through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and a people-first approach. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday and Sunday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Additional shifts may be viewed and claimed through Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, offices, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify that visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel are authorized.
Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
