About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Shreveport, Louisiana, you will help safeguard the client site while providing customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access activity, respond to incidents, and report observations. The role supports a professional and welcoming environment and follows site-specific security procedures and policies. The position pays $16.38 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, or facility hazards.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance according to site procedures to help deter unauthorized entry.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
Document observations and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Provide directions, answer routine questions, and maintain accurate activity and incident reports.
