About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Boston, Massachusetts. The officer will help safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, responding to concerns, and providing customer service. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Monitor access to residential common areas and manage visitor and vendor entry according to site procedures; document relevant activity.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate contacts and emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
