About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Awareness in Riverside, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to security-related concerns. The position is full time and pays $18.52 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations while maintaining clear and accurate daily activity reports.
