About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in West Jefferson, Ohio. The officer will safeguard the property and its tenants and visitors through regular patrols, monitoring, incident response, and customer service. The role pays $19.50 per hour and follows a daytime schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
