About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare setting in Mountain View, California. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and the facility by conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents and emergencies. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with site-specific policies and hospital protocols. The listed pay rate is $25.50 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with hospital and facility protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist in directing visitors, staff, and vendors according to site-specific access procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly.
- Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
