About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an upscale residential building, you will safeguard residents, visitors, and property while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and help foster a welcoming environment through integrity and teamwork. The role includes supporting site procedures and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly, following established problem-solving, reporting, and escalation procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in required logs and reports.
