Security Officer - Multi-Building Residential Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for multi-building residential patrol. The officer will help safeguard residents, visitors, property staff, and the residential property by conducting patrols, monitoring access and activity, responding to concerns and incidents, and communicating relevant observations. The role is scheduled overnight, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and pays $20.00 per hour. Applicants must have a valid New York State Security Guard License, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with residential property policies.
- Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
