Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support a government location in Houston, Texas. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activities, and provide professional customer service and communication. The role involves responding to incidents and access concerns, monitoring site activity and access points, and completing accurate, timely documentation. The posted pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation accurately and on time.
