About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and pays $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and delivery traffic and report unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
