About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Montclair, California. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. The role involves routine patrols, clear communication, professional responses to concerns, and exceptional customer service. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $18.60 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
