About The Position

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is hiring an armed Security Officer in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by safeguarding and patrolling premises, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and visitors. Officers conduct regular and random patrols, monitor for potential risks, and respond calmly to incidents and emergencies. The work environment may vary by client site. The position pays $18.50 per hour, with overtime where applicable. The listed schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The officer must be able to work overnight and stand for eight hours without sitting. Employment is contingent on applicable screening, credentialing, onboarding, and site approval requirements.

Requirements

Prior armed security experience.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
A valid Armed Security License for the State of Arkansas.
Own a personal semi-automatic firearm and two magazines; accepted calibers are 9mm, .40 caliber, or .45 caliber.
Customer service experience and ability to navigate phone apps and write reports.
Ability to work overnight and stand for eight hours without sitting.
Reliable transportation and a clean driver's license.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, obtain the required security certification, complete onboarding and site-specific training, and obtain approval and interview with the assigned site manager.
E-Verification approval.
