About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in a healthcare setting in Durham, North Carolina. The officer safeguards clients and supports a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff through visible patrols, customer service, incident response, and adherence to site policies and protocols. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site requirements.
