About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Support Security Officer in Atlanta, Georgia, to serve and safeguard clients in a technology, media, and telecommunications environment. The officer conducts patrols, monitors access points, helps deter incidents, and supports a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. The role calls for strong communication and customer service skills, reporting security-related concerns, and responding to site needs. A shift-claim platform allows officers to view and claim additional shifts. The position pays $20.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants for unarmed roles must be at least 18 years old. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors, maintaining visitor records, and reporting access-control concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
