Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support patrol operations at a commercial real estate location in Montgomery, Alabama. The officer will help safeguard the property by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. The role calls for professionalism, integrity, calm incident response, and clear communication. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. The position is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and pays $16.30 per hour. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while following security procedures and site-specific policies and supporting emergency response when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor property access and observe visitor and contractor activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site protocols.
- Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and in accordance with company and site requirements.
