About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard tenants, visitors, and clients by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting a welcoming environment, providing customer service, communicating professionally, and reporting security-related concerns. Work is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.25 per hour.

Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may need to be satisfied before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property; assist visitors with directions and report unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Accurately and completely document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with company and site requirements.
