Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Service
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution in Kennesaw, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control and alarm response activities. You will provide professional customer service to employees and visitors and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care. The role includes carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies, responding to incidents and alarms according to established procedures, conducting regular and random patrols, monitoring access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials as directed, and maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers while following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding public service agencies.
