As a Security Officer Front Desk Associate in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a central post, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification, managing access requests, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, answer phones and/or direct inquiries, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal management as appropriate.
  • Support access control operations by issuing temporary credentials, documenting arrivals and departures, and helping to report unusual activity or policy concerns.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation accurately and on time while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
