About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Chester, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role requires customer service and clear communication when responding to security concerns. The listed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Scheduled hours are Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM; Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; and Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, follow site protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with directions, and maintain a professional presence.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
