About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location in Cleveland, Ohio, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and the facility. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through customer service and clear communication. You will respond to security-related concerns and other critical situations in accordance with established protocols and site-specific policies.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hospital positions require vaccinations.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations; follow protocols and contact appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of patient-care areas, public spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated site personnel.
