About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at a commercial real estate location. The unarmed officer will help safeguard the property by patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, and providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. The role uses computer or tablet systems as needed and includes responding to incidents and documenting activities. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $19.90 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
Monitor property access and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
Maintain a professional presence throughout the property.
