Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
Monitor site access, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to support continuity of operations.
