About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Screener for a logistics and distribution location in Chandler, Arizona. The role helps maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Screen individuals, packages, and belongings according to established procedures; identify and report prohibited items, irregularities, or policy violations to site leadership.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and maintain accurate screening and incident records.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
