About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify threats before they escalate. The position is based in Vallejo, California, and is scheduled for 16 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $19. A uniform is provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

The officer helps protect people and property by monitoring surveillance systems, documenting incidents, responding to threats, patrolling premises, controlling access, and identifying potential security system vulnerabilities or malfunctions. The role may involve working in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• One year of security experience is preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities
