About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Concierge Security Officer for grocery store locations. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while supporting the safety and security of people and property. Officers welcome, verify, and guide visitors; manage access; patrol and inspect security equipment; respond to incidents; and communicate security concerns. They also create badges for customer employees, vendors, and guests, so computer literacy and the ability to learn new programs are required. Prior security experience is not required; prior badging experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills, including the ability to type and learn new programs.
• Have a state license if required.
• Be able to walk and/or stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Prior badging experience is a plus.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identity, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
• Create badges for customer employees, vendors, and guests.
