About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer providing lobby services at a financial institution in Kansas City, Missouri, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and employees. You will support access control, monitor entry activity, communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain an orderly environment. The role is part of Allied Universal’s team-focused culture, where integrity, reliability, and innovation support service to clients and communities. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and pays $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide a professional front-desk presence for visitors, employees, and contractors, following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests according to established policies.
Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and required documentation, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow emergency response procedures, and notify designated contacts.
Provide customer service while supporting a welcoming, orderly, and security-focused environment.
