About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for site patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarms, and provide customer service and communication. The scheduled hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.24 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
Accurately and promptly document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports.
