About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location in Baldwinsville, New York, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine facility patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and communication. You will help support a welcoming, orderly environment as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity. A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may need to be satisfied before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when handling incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, visitor and vehicle activity, and delivery traffic according to site procedures.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
