About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in West Jefferson, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to tenants and visitors. The position is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and pays $17.51 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local law before employment, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
Maintain professional communication with building occupants and management.
