About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Rounds in Frederick, Maryland, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding professionally to security-related concerns.

This is a part-time position scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.34 per hour. Employees can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, access-control issues, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
