About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a logistics location in Newton, Mississippi. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, observe and report activity, respond to security concerns, and provide professional customer service. The role is scheduled Sunday and Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and pays $16.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Loss prevention experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• X-ray screening experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and observe and report activity.
