About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Mountain View, California. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors. The officer supports a welcoming environment while demonstrating teamwork, integrity, and the company’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. The schedule is Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $25.50 per hour. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations; notify hospital personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor credentials as required, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
