About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Olathe, Kansas. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The position pays $19.00 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and access points; identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor site access by verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, communicate with appropriate personnel, and complete accurate incident reports.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel and vehicles around shipping and receiving areas while following site-specific procedures.
