About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Grove City, Ohio, you will help safeguard clients, employees, drivers, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control and site procedures, and provide professional customer service. The position offers a schedule of Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay is $17.98 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local laws. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established procedures, and contact appropriate personnel when needed.
Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, and policy violations; complete clear, timely activity and incident reports.
