About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol security officer for a residential community in Honolulu, Hawaii. The officer will safeguard residents, guests, vendors, visitors, and property operations through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting. The position emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, reliability, and teamwork. The scheduled shifts are Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and observe resident, guest, and vendor activity in accordance with property procedures.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and maintenance-related observations in clear, accurate reports.
