Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation

About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support a healthcare location in Winchester, Kentucky. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies. The posted schedule is Friday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events, following established escalation and notification procedures.
- Observe and report conditions that may affect facility operations, personnel, property, or restricted areas.
- Communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
